Vaporesso Armour G Series Pods — Specifications

Specifications are from Vaporesso’s official Armour G & GS page, checked against US retailer listings.

DTL vs MTL: Which Armour G Pod?

Both versions hold 5ml and take the same GTX coils. The difference is the airflow and mouthpiece.

[DTL] Armour G Pod

Made for direct-to-lung vaping with open airflow and big clouds. Pair it with low-resistance GTX coils and freebase e-liquid.

[MTL] Armour G Pod

Made for a tighter mouth-to-lung draw that feels closer to a cigarette. Pair it with higher-resistance GTX coils and nicotine salt or 50/50 e-liquid.

Which GTX Coil Should You Use?

These pods come without coils. Vaporesso lists these GTX mesh coils for the Armour G series:

• 0.2Ω Mesh: 45–60W
• 0.3Ω Mesh: 32–45W
• 0.4Ω Mesh: 26–32W
• 0.6Ω Mesh: 20–26W
• 0.8Ω Mesh: 12–16W
• 1.2Ω Mesh: 8–12W

The 0.15Ω GTX coil (60–75W) is listed for the Armour GS only. For the DTL pod, choose from the low-resistance end; for the MTL pod, 0.8Ω or 1.2Ω. We stock Vaporesso GTX Mesh Coils and GTX coils for the Target PM80.

How to Fit a Coil and Fill an Armour G Pod

1. Press a GTX coil firmly into the base of the empty pod.
2. Open the top-fill port and fill slowly, stopping just below the top.
3. Close the port and wipe the pod clean.
4. Wait about five minutes so the new coil fully soaks. A dry coil burns on the first puff.
5. Click the pod back in and start at the low end of the coil’s wattage range, then raise it gradually.

When a coil wears out, swap only the coil and keep using the pod.

Armour G Pods vs Other Vaporesso Pods at Vapor AE

Because Armour G pods reuse the pod body and only replace the coil, running costs are usually lower than with built-in-coil pods. You will need a GTX coil pack alongside them.

Best E-Liquid for Armour G Pods

With the DTL pod and low-resistance coils, use lower-strength freebase e-liquid. With the MTL pod and 0.8Ω or 1.2Ω coils, nicotine salt or 50/50 freebase works well. Browse our UAE e-liquids for a flavour at a strength within the UAE limit.

UAE Rules for E-Liquid and Pods

Armour G pods are sold empty, so they contain no nicotine themselves. The rules apply to what you fill them with. Electronic nicotine products in the UAE must meet UAE.S 5030:2018, which caps e-liquid nicotine at 20mg/mL (2%), so choose an e-liquid at or below that strength. From 1 September 2026 a minimum excise price of AED 1 per mL of e-liquid also applies to the e-liquid itself. Sale is restricted to adults 21 and over. See our guide to vaping laws in Dubai and the UAE for the full picture.
