The long-term health effects of vaping are still being studied. How to Vape Responsibly

  • Choose a nicotine strength that suits you and avoid chain-vaping
  • Store devices and e-liquids upright, out of direct sunlight and heat, and out of reach of children and pets
  • Never puncture, crush, disassemble or burn a device or battery, and don’t use a damaged or swollen unit
  • Charge only with the correct cable, on a hard surface, and don’t leave devices charging unattended
  • Keep nicotine e-liquid tightly closed — swallowing it can be dangerous, especially for children

Where You Can and Cannot Vape in the UAE

Public vaping is regulated under UAE regulations. Avoid vaping in indoor public spaces, malls, workplaces, and any signposted no-smoking or no-vaping area, and never vape in a vehicle when a child is present. Sale and use are restricted to adults aged 21 and over — see our Delivery & Age Policy.

Disposing of Devices Safely

Vapes contain a lithium battery and shouldn’t go loose into general household waste where avoidable. Never puncture, crush or burn a device to empty it. Use battery or electronics recycling points where available, and keep spent devices away from children until disposed of.

Thinking About Stopping Nicotine?

If you want to cut down or quit, free support is available in the UAE. Emirates Health Services (EHS) runs smoking-cessation clinics across the Emirates, offering counselling and follow-up (ehs.gov.ae). The Ministry of Health and Prevention also runs the national tobacco-control programme (mohap.gov.ae). Your own doctor or pharmacist can also guide you.

Legal & Standards Framework

Vaping has been legal in the UAE since 2019. Electronic nicotine products must meet standard UAE.S 5030:2018 and are certified through ECAS under the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT).
