What is the Vaporesso Armour G?

The Armour G is a rugged pod mod from Vaporesso’s Armour line. It has a 3000mAh built-in battery and up to 80W, far more than a pod pen, with a 0.96-inch TFT screen. Its 5ml pod takes replaceable GTX mesh coils, so you change the coil rather than the pod, and the top airflow adjusts in four precise steps.

The kit is sold as empty hardware: no e-liquid or nicotine is included.

DTL Kit vs MTL Kit

Vaporesso makes two versions. The DTL kit comes with GTX 0.2Ω and 0.4Ω mesh coils for direct-lung vaping at higher wattage. The MTL kit comes with GTX 0.6Ω and 0.4Ω mesh coils for a tighter draw, and adds a DTL drip tip so you can switch styles. Both use the same device and 5ml pod. For spare pods, see our Vaporesso Armour G series pods (5ml) in DTL and MTL versions.

GTX Coils for the Armour G

• GTX 0.2Ω mesh: direct-lung, higher wattage, dense vapour.
• GTX 0.4Ω mesh: in both kits; a middle option.
• GTX 0.6Ω mesh: tighter draw at lower wattage.

For spare coils, see our Vaporesso GTX mesh coils (5-pack). Set the wattage within the range printed on each coil.

Battery and Charging

The 3000mAh battery charges over USB Type-C at 5V/2A. Battery life depends mostly on wattage: a 0.2Ω coil at high power drains it far faster than a 0.6Ω coil at low power. Do not leave the kit charging in a hot car or in direct sun.

UAE Rules for Mods and E-Liquid

The Armour G is sold empty, so it contains no nicotine. The rules apply to the e-liquid you fill it with. Electronic nicotine products in the UAE must meet UAE.S 5030:2018, which caps e-liquid nicotine at 20mg/mL (2%). From 1 September 2026, a minimum excise price of AED 1 per mL of e-liquid also applies. Sale is restricted to adults 21 and over. See our guide to vaping laws in Dubai and the UAE.

Armour G vs Armour GS vs Luxe XR Max 2

The Armour GS uses a swappable 18650 cell. The Luxe XR Max 2 has a slightly bigger battery and ships with both DTL and MTL pods.

How to Use the Armour G

1. Charge the kit over USB Type-C before first use.
2. Prime a GTX coil with a few drops of e-liquid and fit it in the pod.
3. Fill the pod, leaving a little space, and wait about five minutes.
4. Set a low wattage within the coil’s range and choose an airflow level.
5. Raise the wattage slowly until the vapour feels right.

Troubleshooting

• Burnt taste: the coil was not primed, or the wattage is too high.
• Device reads no coil: push the coil in fully and reseat the pod.
• Spitback: do not overfill, and open the airflow a level.
• Flavour fading: replace the GTX coil.
