Podsalt

POD SALT is a British nicotine-salt brand launched in 2018 and made by Xyfil Ltd in Preston, UK, known for award-winning salt e-liquids and the Nexus and Onyx disposables. Vapor AE stocks genuine POD SALT UAE disposables and e-liquids, with 24-hour delivery to all seven emirates.

POD SALT UAE: what we stock

Our POD SALT UAE range covers 14 products. Eleven are disposable vapes, from the 2,500-puff Go to the 35,000-puff Pod Salt 35K. Three are e-liquids: Core and Nexus nicotine salts for pod kits, and Subo, a low-strength 50ml e-liquid for sub-ohm devices.

POD SALT describes itself as “a dedicated nicotine salt brand”. Nicotine salts give a smoother throat hit at a given strength than freebase nicotine, which is why they are the usual choice for pod kits and disposables.

Because the brand makes its own e-liquid, the same flavour profiles appear across its disposables and its bottled salts. If you find a flavour you like in a disposable, you can often continue with it in a refillable pod kit.

Who makes POD SALT?

POD SALT launched in 2018 and is made only by Xyfil Ltd, a UK e-liquid manufacturer founded in 2014 (Xyfil: the evolution of Pod Salt). Xyfil’s factory is in Fulwood, Preston, in Lancashire, and the company says it holds ISO 9001 and GMP certification and makes TPD-compliant e-liquids. The UK site calls the range an “award-winning, British-made E-liquid collection” whose mission is “helping smokers make the switch”.

POD SALT has a direct UAE presence: its UAE store says POD SALT is a trading name of Xyfil Limited, with an office in Gold and Diamond Park, Dubai. Xyfil says POD SALT was the first e-liquid brand to gain ESMA compliance in the UAE, and the UAE store states its products are ESMA compliant, capped at 20mg/ml and fully batch-traceable (POD SALT UAE FAQ).

The brand’s awards include Best Nic Salt E-Liquid at Vape Jam London 2019 and Best Salt Nicotine in 2021 at a ceremony in Dubai (POD SALT awards).

POD SALT series explained

POD SALT’s range splits into puff-count families of disposables plus three e-liquid lines.

Nexus disposables

The Nexus line uses a textured, bespoke device shell. The Nexus 3500 is a no-refill, no-maintenance disposable rated at 3,500 puffs. The Nexus 6000 raises that to 6,000 puffs with a 650mAh rechargeable battery and 18 flavours, and POD SALT’s UAE store lists it at 20mg/ml.

Onyx and Onyx Cloud

The Onyx 4000 is a compact 4,000-puff disposable in 15 flavours, stocked by us at 20mg. The Onyx Cloud is POD SALT’s shisha-lounge-style device, rated at 25,000 puffs with a triple mesh coil and 36 flavours; our listing is the 5mg version. Our Onyx Cloud review and Onyx 4000 review go into more detail.

Pearl Pro, 15K, 35K and Go

The Pearl Pro is a 10,000-puff, draw-activated disposable with a mesh coil and an iridescent crystal shell. The Pod Salt 15K offers 15,000 puffs with a 650mAh battery, a smart LED screen and a “HIT Boost” mode. The Pod Salt 35K goes to 35,000 puffs with an 850mAh fast-charging battery, an LED screen and HIT Boost. The Go 2500 is the smallest, a 2,500-puff Reuleaux-triangle design in 24 flavours, listed at 20mg/ml.

Core, Nexus and Subo e-liquids

Core is POD SALT’s main nicotine salt range, with more than 27 flavours, sold in the UAE as 30ml at 20mg/ml. Nexus salts bring the Nexus disposable flavours to refillable pods. Subo is a 50ml, 3mg/ml e-liquid for higher-wattage sub-ohm devices. POD SALT lists its ingredients as PG, VG, nicotine, salicylic acid and flavourings, and recommends its salts for low-wattage pod devices.

How to choose the right POD SALT product

Pick a disposable by how much you vape. The Go 2500 or Onyx 4000 suits light or occasional use. The Nexus 6000 and Pearl Pro cover typical weekly use, and the 15K and 35K last longest, with screens and a HIT Boost mode. If you like shisha-style flavours and a lower strength, choose the Onyx Cloud.

If you already own a refillable pod kit, Core 30ml at 20mg/ml is the better-value option over time. Use Subo only in a sub-ohm tank or pod mod at higher wattage. Other disposable brands we carry include Elf Bar and Myle, and you can read more in our guide to the benefits of POD SALT disposables.
