About POD SALT and the Core Range

POD SALT is a dedicated nicotine-salt brand launched in 2018 and made by Xyfil Ltd, a UK e-liquid manufacturer based in Preston, Lancashire. Xyfil says it holds ISO 9001 and GMP certification. The brand has a direct UAE presence with an office in Dubai, and its awards include Best Nic Salt E-Liquid at Vape Jam London 2019. Core is its main salt range and the base for many of the flavours in its disposables. See our POD SALT UAE brand page for the full story.

Which Devices Suit POD SALT Core?

Nicotine salt feels smoother than freebase at the same strength, so Core is made for small, low-wattage mouth-to-lung pod kits with coils of about 0.8Ω or higher. From our range, good matches include the Vaporesso XROS 1.2Ω pods, Aspire Nexi Pro, JUSTFOG ARO pods and SMOK Novo X pods. POD SALT itself recommends its salts for low-wattage pod devices. Do not use salts in a high-wattage sub-ohm tank.

Is POD SALT Core Within UAE Nicotine Rules?

Electronic nicotine products in the UAE must meet UAE.S 5030:2018, which caps e-liquid nicotine at 20mg/mL (2%). Core is sold in the UAE at 20mg/mL, at that limit. POD SALT’s UAE store states that its products are ESMA compliant, capped at 20mg/ml and fully batch-traceable (POD SALT UAE FAQ). From 1 September 2026, the UAE also applies a minimum excise price of AED 1 per mL on e-liquid. Sale is restricted to adults 21 and over.

Core vs Other POD SALT Options

Choose Core for a refillable pod kit, Subo for a sub-ohm tank at higher wattage, or the Go if you want no refilling at all. A 30ml bottle usually costs much less per ml than disposables.

How to Use and Store POD SALT Core

1. Shake the bottle gently before filling.
2. Fill your pod slowly, leaving a little air space.
3. With a new pod or coil, wait about five minutes before your first puff.
4. Start at your device’s lowest power setting.

Store the bottle upright with the cap closed, away from heat and sunlight, and out of reach of children and pets. Do not leave it in a parked car. Nicotine is harmful if swallowed; wash any spills off skin with soap and water.

How to Check It Is Genuine
