0.8Ω vs 1.0Ω: Which ARO Pod Should You Choose?

Both are mesh coils made for mouth-to-lung vaping on the ARO’s automatic, draw-activated output. The difference is in how warm and full the vapour feels.

0.8Ω mesh pod

The lower resistance runs slightly warmer, with a little more vapour and a fuller flavour. It is the pod the ARO is best known for and a good default if you are unsure.

1.0Ω mesh pod

The higher resistance gives a slightly cooler, tighter and more discreet draw, and it is a little easier on the battery. Choose it if the 0.8Ω feels too warm or if you use a stronger nicotine salt and want a softer hit.

Which Device Does the ARO Pod Fit?

ARO pods are made for the JUSTFOG ARO pod kit. They do not fit JUSTFOG’s other pod kits: the Minifit S uses its own pods, the Myfit uses Myfit pods, and the Glent uses Glent cartridges. For the full range, see our JUSTFOG UAE brand page.

How to Fill and Prime an ARO Pod

Pull the pod out of the ARO.
Open the fill port on the top side of the pod.
Fill slowly, stopping a little below the top so air can escape, then close the port firmly.
Wait about five minutes so the cotton in the mesh coil soaks through.
Put the pod back in and take a few gentle, slow puffs before vaping normally.

Skipping the soak is the most common reason a new pod tastes burnt, and a burnt coil cannot be recovered.

How Long Does an ARO Pod Last?

Because the coil is built in, the pod is finished when the coil wears out, not when the e-liquid runs out. How long that takes depends on how much you vape and what you vape. Sweet e-liquids with a lot of sweetener coat the coil faster; tobacco, menthol and lighter fruit flavours are gentler. Replace the pod when the flavour turns muted or burnt even after a refill.

Troubleshooting: Leaks, Gurgling and Weak Flavour

Gurgling or spitting: usually too much e-liquid in the coil. Remove the pod, wrap it in tissue and give it a gentle flick, or take a couple of short draws without firing.
Leaking: make sure the fill port is fully closed, and do not overfill. Heat also thins e-liquid, so keep the device out of hot cars in the UAE summer.
Weak flavour: the coil may be near the end of its life, or the e-liquid may be too thick. Try a new pod or a thinner e-liquid.
Device not firing: check that the pod is fully seated and that the contacts at the base are clean and dry.

Best E-Liquid for ARO Pods

At 0.8–1.0Ω and a mouth-to-lung draw, ARO pods work best with nicotine salt e-liquid or a thin 50/50 freebase. Avoid thick, high-VG e-liquid, which can struggle to soak the small coil and cause dry hits.

The pod contains no nicotine. Under UAE.S 5030:2018, e-liquid nicotine in the UAE is capped at 20mg/mL (2%). Some e-liquids on the market are stronger, and each of our product pages states the strength. Browse our UAE e-liquids.

FAQ

Which device does the JUSTFOG ARO pod fit?
The JUSTFOG ARO pod kit only.

What resistances are available?
0.8Ω and 1.0Ω mesh.

How much e-liquid does it hold?
2ml.

Can I replace just the coil?
No. The coil is built into the pod.

Why does my ARO pod taste burnt?
Usually because it was not primed, or the coil is worn out. Fill and wait five minutes before the first puff.

Can I use freebase e-liquid?
Yes, if it is thin, such as 50/50. Nicotine salts work best.

How many ARO pods should I keep spare?
Most daily vapers keep one spare pod so they can swap straight away when the flavour fades. If you like to switch flavours, keep one pod per flavour so the tastes do not mix.

Is it genuine JUSTFOG?
Yes. Every product we sell is genuine stock, covered by our Authenticity Guarantee.

How fast is delivery?
Up to 24 hours to all seven emirates, with 2-hour Express in Dubai and 4-hour Express in Sharjah.
