HQD UAE: what we stock

Our HQD UAE range covers 11 disposable vapes. They run from the compact Cuvie Plus to the Shisha, a direct-to-lung (DTL) disposable built for people who usually smoke shisha. Several models come in more than one nicotine strength, including zero-nicotine and 3mg options, which are rare among high-puff disposables.

Who makes HQD?

HQD is the brand of Shenzhen Hanqingda Technology Co., Ltd. (the initials HQD come from Hanqingda), founded in 2014 and based in the Guangming District of Shenzhen, China. The company says it employs more than 1,000 people and holds CE, FCC, RoHS and MSDS certifications (HQD: About us).

HQD describes itself as a global vape technology maker focused on “personalized style, human-centric design, premium quality and optimal flavor”. Its official line-up keeps changing, and current names on hqdtech.com include the SNAP PRO, SISA, CLICK PLUS and EVEREST (HQD products). HQD series explained

HQD’s disposables in our range fall into four groups. Choose by draw style first, then by puff count and strength.

HQD Cuvie

Cuvie is HQD’s long-running line of slim disposables. The Cuvie Slick, launched in March 2023, is just 12mm thin and weighs 70g, with an aluminium-alloy body, a 1400mAh battery, 15ml of pre-filled e-liquid and a mesh coil, rated at 6,000 puffs (HQD Cuvie Slick launch). We stock it in 20mg and 50mg. The Cuvie Plus is a smaller, non-rechargeable disposable listed by retailers at around 1,200 puffs. We also list a higher-puff Cuvie Silk Pro; HQD does not publish specs for it on its site, so check the product page for details.

HQD Glaze Plus

The Glaze Plus has two liquid chambers, one regular and one cooling, and a one-button cooling mode, so you can add or remove the icy finish. It runs from 7W to 22W on a dual mesh coil, with a 650mAh Type-C battery and a smart LED screen for battery, liquid and charging (HQD Glaze Plus). Retailers rate it at up to 12,000 puffs; our listing is 20mg.

HQD Miracle

The Miracle is rated at up to 8,000 puffs and is rechargeable, and you can vape while it charges. Its dual mesh coils work in turns, and HQD says its patented cotton is 20% more efficient and uses more than 95% of the e-liquid. It also has an LED screen, a leak-proof cartridge and a metal body. We stock it as a zero-nicotine (0%) disposable, for people who want the flavour without nicotine.

HQD Shisha

The HQD Shisha is built for direct-to-lung vaping, like a shisha pipe. It has an 850mAh rechargeable Type-C battery, a 0.6Ω mesh coil, adjustable airflow, an LED screen for liquid, battery and puff seconds, and a leather-feel finish (HQD Shisha). We stock it at 3mg and 2% (20mg). Direct-lung vaping delivers more vapour per puff, so lower nicotine strengths suit it best.

HQD nicotine strengths and the UAE limit

UAE standard UAE.S 5030:2018 caps e-liquid nicotine at 20mg/mL. In our HQD range:

• Within the limit: the Miracle 8000 (0%), the Shisha at 3mg and 2% (20mg), the Cuvie Slick at 20mg and the Glaze Plus at 20mg.
• Above the limit: the Cuvie Plus, the Cuvie Silk Pro and the 50mg Cuvie Slick are sold at 50mg, above the UAE’s 20mg/mL cap.

How to choose the right HQD disposable

Choose first by draw style. The Cuvie and Glaze Plus give a mouth-to-lung (MTL) draw similar to a cigarette. The HQD Shisha is built for a direct-lung draw, which suits people who usually smoke shisha; start with the 3mg version if you want the lightest option.

Next, choose by features. If you like a cooling finish but want to control it, the Glaze Plus lets you switch its cooling chamber on or off. If you want a slim, pocket-friendly device, the Cuvie Slick is the thinnest in the range. If you want flavour without nicotine, the Miracle 8000 is our zero-nicotine option.

Puff counts are the maker’s or retailers’ ratings under test conditions, so real use depends on how you vape. When a disposable is empty, recycle it at an electronics or battery collection point rather than in household waste. Other disposable brands we carry include VOZOL, Elf Bar and Al Fakher.
