MTL Pod vs RDL Pod

Both pods hold 5ml and take GTX coils; the difference is the airflow path and mouthpiece, which set how tight the draw feels.

MTL pod

The MTL pod gives a tighter, cigarette-like mouth-to-lung draw. Pair it with higher-resistance GTX coils such as 0.8Ω or 1.0–1.2Ω and a nicotine salt or thin e-liquid.

RDL pod

The RDL pod opens the draw for restricted direct-lung vaping with more vapour. Pair it with lower-resistance GTX coils such as 0.4Ω or 0.6Ω and a lower-strength freebase.

Which GTX Coils Fit?

The pods take Vaporesso GTX mesh coils, including 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω. We stock Vaporesso GTX mesh coils in 5-packs. GTX coils are not the same as GTi coils (which fit iTank tanks), so check the name before ordering.

How to Fit, Fill and Prime the Pod

Press a GTX coil firmly into the base of the empty pod.
Drip a few drops of e-liquid onto the coil’s exposed cotton.
Turn the pod upside down, open the silicone stopper and fill slowly, leaving a little air space.
Close the stopper firmly and stand the pod upright for about five minutes so the cotton soaks through.
Click the pod into your LUXE XR and start at a low wattage.

Change the coil when flavour fades; replace the pod only if it cracks or the stopper wears out.

Best E-Liquid for LUXE XR Pods

In the MTL pod with 0.8–1.2Ω coils, use a nicotine salt or thin 50/50 e-liquid such as POD SALT Core. In the RDL pod with 0.4–0.6Ω coils, use a low-strength freebase. Under UAE.S 5030:2018, e-liquid nicotine in the UAE is capped at 20mg/mL (2%); each of our product pages states its strength.

Troubleshooting

Leaking from the base: the stopper is not fully closed or the coil is not seated. Reseat both.
Gurgling: the coil has flooded; take a few short draws without firing.
Burnt taste: the coil was not primed or the wattage is too high for its resistance.
No coil detected: push the coil in fully and wipe the contacts dry.
