Which XROS Pod Resistance Should You Choose?

The resistance decides the draw. Higher resistance means lower power, a tighter draw and a cooler vapour; lower resistance means more power, a looser draw and more vapour.

1.0Ω and 1.2Ω: tight mouth-to-lung

These run at 10–12W and give the tightest, most cigarette-like draw. They are the natural choice for nicotine salt e-liquid and for anyone switching from smoking.

0.8Ω: the all-rounder

At 16W, the 0.8Ω mesh pod sits in the middle. It gives a mouth-to-lung (MTL) draw with a little more flavour and vapour, and works with nicotine salts or freebase e-liquid.

0.4Ω and 0.6Ω: looser restricted direct-lung

At 21–25W, these mesh pods give a warmer, looser restricted direct-lung (RDL) draw with more vapour. Use them with a lower nicotine strength, because each puff delivers more.

Which Devices Do XROS Pods Fit?

Vaporesso says its XROS pods are compatible with the entire XROS series. What changes from device to device is how much power it can give, so match the pod to your kit:

• XROS 2: tops out at 16W, so use 0.8–1.2Ω pods.
• XROS 4 and XROS 4 Mini: ship with a 0.4Ω pod and take the full range.
• XROS Cube: ships with 0.8Ω and 0.6Ω pods.
• XROS Pro and XROS Pro 2: higher-power kits that suit the 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω pods.

How Long Does an XROS Pod Last?

You refill an XROS pod, so it is finished when the coil inside wears out, not when the e-liquid runs out. Pod life depends on how much you vape, the power you use and the e-liquid. Sweet dessert and candy e-liquids caramelise on the coil faster; tobacco and menthol flavours are usually gentler. Replace the pod when:

• the flavour turns muted or burnt after a refill;
• the vapour gets thinner at the same setting;
• the pod starts to leak or gurgle.

With four pods in a pack, most daily vapers have enough to rotate through for several weeks.

How to Fill and Prime an XROS Pod

1. Take the pod out of the device and hold it upright.
2. Open the top-fill cap.
3. Fill slowly with e-liquid, stopping just below the top.
4. Close the cap firmly and wipe the outside of the pod.
5. Wait about five minutes so the coil’s cotton soaks fully. This prevents a burnt first puff.
6. Click the pod into the device and start on a gentle setting.

Refill before the e-liquid gets too low, and never vape a pod dry. A dry coil burns almost instantly and cannot be recovered.

Best E-Liquid for XROS Pods

UAE Rules for E-Liquid and Pods

XROS pods are sold empty, so they contain no nicotine. The rules apply to what you fill them with. Electronic nicotine products in the UAE must meet UAE.S 5030:2018, which caps e-liquid nicotine at 20mg/mL (2%).
