The XROS 2 fires when you draw, like a disposable, or when you press the Halo button, like a pod mod. Draw activation is easy for beginners; the button gives more control over when the coil heats. You can use whichever feels natural.

Two output levels

Vaporesso lists two output levels, 11W and 16W. The lower setting suits the 1.2Ω pod and a gentle MTL draw; the higher one gives the 0.8Ω mesh pod a warmer, fuller hit. There are no menus to learn.

SSS leak resistance and top fill

Vaporesso’s SSS leak-resistant design and a top-fill port are aimed at the most common pod-kit complaints: e-liquid in your pocket and messy refills. Filling from the top means you do not need to turn the pod upside down.

Water-drop air inlet and battery light

The air inlet is shaped to give a smooth MTL draw. A tiding battery indicator light shows how much charge is left, and the device charges over USB Type-C.

The XROS 2 uses XROS series pods. It was designed around the 0.8Ω mesh and 1.2Ω pods that come in the box, and because its output tops out at 16W, those higher-resistance pods are the right match. Lower-resistance XROS pods are meant for higher-power XROS models.

How to Use the Vaporesso XROS 2

Charge the device fully with the Type-C cable before first use.
Remove the pod, open the top-fill port and fill with e-liquid, leaving a little space at the top.
Close the port, refit the pod and wait about five minutes so the coil’s cotton soaks fully.
Draw gently to fire, or press the Halo button while you inhale.
Take short puffs to start, then vape as normal.
Recharge when the battery light shows low.

Never vape a pod dry. A burnt taste on a new pod usually means it was not given time to soak, and the damage cannot be undone.

Best E-Liquid for the XROS 2

With 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω pods and a tight MTL draw, the XROS 2 is made for nicotine salt e-liquid, which gives a smooth throat hit at low power. Thin, 50/50 freebase e-liquid also works.
