What 20mg (2%) means on a disposable
The number on a disposable is the nicotine concentration of its e-liquid. 20mg means 20 milligrams of nicotine per millilitre (20 mg/mL), which is the same strength as 2%. Strength is separate from puff count: a 2,000-puff pen and a 100,000-puff device can carry the same 20mg figure, because puffs reflect liquid volume and battery size, not nicotine content. 20mg and the UAE limit
The UAE standard sets a numeric ceiling; see our UAE vape nicotine limit guide. Clause 4.2.4 of UAE.S 5030:2018 standard (MoIAT) reads: the content of nicotine in the electronic liquid shall be less than or equal to 20 milligrams per millilitre. That is 2%, so 20mg is the highest figure the clause allows. The standard’s scope covers electronic vape products and their refill containers; it does not name disposables explicitly, and this page makes no ruling on the registration status of any individual product.
