50mg Disposable Vape UAE: Strength and UAE Limit Explained
A 50mg disposable vape lists 50 mg/mL (5%) nicotine, which is two and a half times the 20 mg/mL limit in clause 4.2.4 of UAE.S 5030:2018. What 50mg (5%) means
50mg means 50 milligrams of nicotine per millilitre of e-liquid (50 mg/mL), which is 5%. The conversion is 10 mg/mL = 1%, so 20 mg/mL is 2% and 50 mg/mL is 5%. On a per-millilitre basis, 50mg is 2.5 times the strength of 20mg. Strength is separate from puff count: a device’s puff rating reflects liquid volume and battery size. 50mg and the UAE limit, stated plainly
Clause 4.2.4 of the UAE.S 5030:2018 standard (MoIAT) reads: the content of nicotine in the electronic liquid shall be less than or equal to 20 milligrams per millilitre. 50 mg/mL is above that figure.
