What is the Armour OCTA?

The Armour OCTA is one of the high-power models in Vaporesso’s rugged Armour family. Two 18650 batteries give it up to 220W, and the body is sealed against water, water jets and dust, which suits outdoor work, desert trips and the beach. It ships with the iTank T, a 6ml sub-ohm tank with a sliding top-fill lid and top airflow, which keeps e-liquid from leaking out of the airflow slots.

This is a direct-lung kit for dense clouds and strong flavour, aimed at experienced vapers. It is not suited to tight mouth-to-lung vaping or high-strength nicotine salts.

Batteries: What You Need to Buy

The OCTA takes two 18650 batteries, which are not included. Use a matched pair of high-drain, authentic 18650 cells from a reputable brand, always insert them the right way round, and replace both together. Never use batteries with torn wraps. You can charge in the device over Type-C, but an external charger is kinder to the cells.

The iTank T and GTi Dual Mesh Coils

Best E-Liquid for the Armour OCTA

How to Use the Armour OCTA

Insert two matched 18650 batteries the right way round and charge them.
Slide open the iTank T lid and fill with freebase e-liquid, leaving a little space.
Wait about five minutes so the coil soaks.
Start at the low end of the coil’s wattage range and raise gradually.
Replace the coil when flavour turns muted or burnt.

Troubleshooting

Burnt taste: prime the coil, lower the wattage and refill before the tank runs low.
Harsh hit: the nicotine is too strong for sub-ohm; use 3mg or 6mg freebase.
Won’t fire: check both batteries are charged, matched and inserted correctly.
Leaking: make sure the coil is screwed in fully and the lid is closed.
