You Need Two 21700 or 18650 Batteries

The Armour Max has no built-in battery and will not work without two cells. It is built around 21700 batteries, which are larger and hold more charge; sleeves in the box let it run on two 18650s instead. Whichever size you use, fit a matched pair from a known battery brand, bought and used together, and never mix an old cell with a new one.

We stock 18650 cells, including the Efest 18650 3000mAh and the AWT 18650 3500mAh; order two of the same and fit them with the included sleeves. Carry spare cells in a battery case, and do not leave the mod or batteries in a parked car in the UAE heat.

Armour Max Output Modes

• F(t): a custom power curve, so you can shape how the output changes through each puff.
• Pulse: Vaporesso’s boost mode for a stronger start to each puff.
• ECO: a lower-power mode that saves battery.
• TC-Ti, TC-SS, TC-Ni: temperature control for titanium, stainless steel and nickel coils. These are for advanced users who build or buy temperature-control coils; with standard GTi mesh coils, use wattage modes.

If you are new to box mods, start in a standard wattage mode at the low end of the coil’s range and ignore the temperature-control settings.

GTi Coils for the Armour Max

The iTank T uses Vaporesso’s GTi mesh coils. The kit’s 0.2Ω coil is rated for 60–75W and the 0.4Ω coil for 50–60W. We stock Vaporesso GTi coils in 0.15Ω, 0.2Ω, 0.4Ω and 0.5Ω, 5 per pack, and the Vaporesso iTank T 6ml as a spare tank.

Prime every new coil: drip a few drops of e-liquid onto the exposed cotton, fit it, fill the tank and wait about five minutes. Never start at 220W; the coils are rated for 75W or less.

Armour Max vs GEN Max and Other Vaporesso Mods

How to Use the Vaporesso Armour Max

1. Fit two charged, matched batteries, using the sleeves if they are 18650s, and follow the + and − marks.
2. Prime the coil and fill the iTank T from the top.
3. Wait about five minutes for the coil to soak.
4. Choose a wattage mode and set a low wattage within the coil’s range.
5. Raise the wattage gradually until the vapour and flavour feel right.
6. Charge over USB Type-C, or charge the batteries in an external charger.

Best E-Liquid for the Armour Max

With 0.2Ω and 0.4Ω coils at 50–75W, the Armour Max is a direct-lung (DL) setup. Use low-nicotine freebase e-liquid, typically 3mg or 6mg, with a higher VG ratio. Do not use high-strength nicotine salts in a sub-ohm tank. Browse our UAE e-liquids.

UAE Rules for the Armour Max

The Armour Max is sold empty, with no e-liquid or nicotine included, so the rules apply to what you fill it with. Electronic nicotine products in the UAE must meet UAE.S 5030:2018, which caps e-liquid nicotine at 20mg/mL (2%).
