AWT 18650 3500mAh RAINBOW In Dubai

The AWT 18650 3500mAh Rainbow is a high-capacity rechargeable 18650 battery for mods that take removable cells. It is listed at 3500mAh, 3.7V and a 35A maximum discharge, but independent testing of AWT’s 3500mAh cells points to a much lower safe current, so we recommend treating it as a low-current, long-life cell. It costs AED 40 for one or AED 80 for two at Vapor AE, with 24-hour delivery to all seven emirates.

AWT 18650 3500mAh Rainbow — Specifications

The 35A Rating: Read This Before You Buy

In 18650 cells, capacity and current pull against each other: the highest-capacity cells, around 3500mAh, are almost always lower-current cells. A 3500mAh cell labelled “35A” is a red flag. Independent battery tester Battery Mooch bench-tested an AWT “35A” 3500mAh 18650 and rated it as only about an 8A battery (Battery Mooch test).

We have not bench-tested this Rainbow version ourselves, so we cannot say whether it performs the same. The safe approach is to plan as if it were a low-current cell: use it at modest wattage in a regulated mod, and choose a higher-current cell such as the EFEST 18650 3000mAh for high-wattage vaping.

Who Is the AWT 3500mAh For?

Good fit

Single or dual 18650 regulated mods used at lower wattage with mouth-to-lung or restricted-lung coils, where long battery life matters more than power. At low wattage, the high capacity means more vaping per charge.

Not a good fit

High-wattage single-battery builds, low-resistance sub-ohm coils pushed hard, and any mechanical (unregulated) mod. These can draw far more current than a low-current cell should supply.

As a rough guide, a regulated single-battery mod draws amps of about watts divided by (battery voltage times efficiency). Near the end of a charge (about 3.2V), even 25W can pull roughly 8A from one cell. That is why we suggest keeping this cell for lower-wattage use.

18650 Battery Safety

• Use a battery case. Never carry loose cells in a pocket or bag with keys or coins.
• Inspect the wrap. A torn or nicked wrap can short the cell. Re-wrap or retire it.
• Keep pairs together. In dual mods, use two identical cells of the same age, charged and used as a set.
• Avoid heat. Do not leave cells or mods in a parked car in UAE summer temperatures.
• Retire damaged cells. Dented, swollen or unusually hot cells should be recycled.
• Stay in regulated mods. Let the mod’s protection do its job.

How to Charge It

Charge in a dedicated external charger on a hard, non-flammable surface, and remove the cells when they are full. Do not leave cells charging unattended or overnight. AWT lists about 1.5 hours with its own charger; times vary with the charger’s current.

AWT 3500mAh vs EFEST 3000mAh

If you vape at lower wattage and want the longest time between charges, the AWT 3500mAh makes sense. If you vape at higher wattage or are unsure, choose the EFEST 3000mAh.

Pros & Cons

FAQ

Is the AWT 3500mAh really 35A?
Independent testing of an AWT “35A” 3500mAh cell rated it at only about 8A continuous. We have not tested this Rainbow version, so treat it as a low-current cell.

What wattage is safe on this battery?
Keep to lower wattage in a regulated mod. For high-wattage vaping, use a higher-current cell such as the EFEST 3000mAh.

Can I use it in a dual-battery mod?
Yes, with two identical AWT cells of the same age, charged and used together.

Is it flat top?
It is a standard 18650 for vape mods; check your mod’s battery requirements before you buy.

How long does it take to charge?
AWT lists about 1.5 hours with its charger. Your charger’s current will change this.

How should I store spare cells?
In a plastic battery case, away from metal objects and heat.

Why does my AWT battery get warm?
A cell warms up when it is asked for more current than it handles comfortably. If it feels hot rather than slightly warm, lower the wattage, let it cool and consider a higher-current cell for that setup. Stop using any cell that becomes hot to the touch.

Is it genuine AWT?
Yes. Every product we sell is genuine stock, covered by our Authenticity Guarantee.

How fast is delivery?
Up to 24 hours to all seven emirates, with 2-hour Express in Dubai and 4-hour Express in Sharjah.
