What is the VOOPOO TPP Pod 2?

TPP is VOOPOO’s high-power pod-tank system. Instead of a small pod with a built-in coil, a TPP pod is a full sub-ohm tank that clicks magnetically into a pod mod, and it takes replaceable TPP coils. The TPP Pod 2 is the updated version of that tank. It holds 5.5ml, fills from the bottom through a silicone stopper so you never unscrew a top cap, and uses a standard 810 drip tip you can swap for any 810 tip you like.

People buy it to replace a cracked or worn TPP pod, or to keep a second pod ready with a different flavour.

Which Coils Does the TPP Pod 2 Use?

It takes the full VOOPOO TPP coil range. We stock VOOPOO TPP coils in four versions:

For big clouds: DM1 and DM3

TPP-DM1 0.15Ω runs at 60–80W and TPP-DM3 0.15Ω at 80–100W. Both are for open direct-lung vaping with plenty of vapour; the DM3 needs the most power.

For flavour and efficiency: DM2 and DM4

TPP-DM2 0.2Ω runs at 40–60W and TPP-DM4 0.3Ω at 32–40W. They use less battery and e-liquid, and many vapers find they give cleaner flavour.

Coils press-fit into the base of the pod. Start at the bottom of each coil’s range and raise the wattage slowly.

Which Devices Does the TPP Pod 2 Fit?

It is made for VOOPOO’s TPP-system pod mods, including the Drag 3 and Drag X Plus; VOOPOO’s TPP coils are also listed for the Drag X Pro and Drag S Pro. With VOOPOO’s TPP 510 base, a TPP pod can also sit on a standard 510 box mod.

TPP pods do not fit the smaller PnP-pod kits such as the original Drag X or Drag S, which use Drag X/S PnP pods, or the Drag S2 and X2, which use PnP X pods. Check your device’s model name before ordering.

How to Fill and Prime the TPP Pod 2

1. Remove the pod from the device and turn it upside down.
2. Push a TPP coil firmly into the base if one is not already fitted.
3. Drip a few drops of e-liquid onto the coil’s exposed cotton.
4. Open the silicone stopper and fill slowly, leaving a little air space, then close it firmly.
5. Stand the pod upright and wait about five minutes so the cotton soaks through.
6. Click it back into the device and start at the low end of the coil’s wattage range.

Change the coil when flavour fades or the pod starts to gurgle. Rinse the pod in warm water when changing flavours and let it dry completely before refilling.

Best E-Liquid for the TPP Pod 2

Use a freebase e-liquid with a high VG ratio (70/30 or higher) at a low strength such as 3mg. TPP coils run at 32–100W and produce a lot of vapour, so nicotine salts would be far too harsh.
