What is the Geekvape Z Nano 2?

The Z Nano 2 is the compact member of Geekvape’s Z (Zeus) tank family. Geekvape describes it as having a thinner body that looks consistent with the Aegis Mini 2, and it is the tank many people buy to replace or upgrade the tank on a small Aegis mod. It takes the same B Series coils as Geekvape’s Aegis Boost pods, so one coil family covers both.

The main design point is the airflow. Air enters at the top and travels down to the coil, so there are no holes at the base for e-liquid to leak through. That is why Z-series tanks are known for staying clean in a pocket or bag, even in the UAE heat.

Which Coils Does the Z Nano 2 Use?

The Z Nano 2 uses Geekvape B Series coils, which we stock in B0.2, B0.4, B0.6 and B1.2. The tank comes with two: a 0.2Ω and a 0.6Ω.

0.2Ω B coil: direct-lung clouds

The 0.2Ω coil is for direct-lung (DL) vaping at higher wattage with the airflow open. It gives the most vapour and the warmest hit. Use it with low-strength freebase e-liquid, around 3mg.

0.6Ω B coil: restricted draw

The 0.6Ω coil runs at lower wattage with a tighter, restricted direct-lung draw. It uses less e-liquid and battery, and it suits people moving up from a pod kit. B0.4 sits between the two, and B1.2 gives the tightest mouth-to-lung draw of the range.

Which Mods Does It Fit?

How to Fill, Prime and Clean the Z Nano 2

1. Unscrew the top cap and fill slowly down the side of the glass, keeping e-liquid out of the centre chimney.
2. Fill to just below the top and screw the cap back on.
3. With a new coil, wait about five minutes so the cotton fully soaks.
4. Set the airflow ring and start at the low end of the coil’s wattage range.
5. Refill before the level drops below the coil’s wicking holes.

To change a coil, empty the tank, unscrew the base and push in a new B coil, then re-prime. Rinse the parts in warm water when you change flavours and let them dry fully. Replace the coil when the flavour turns muted or burnt.

Best E-Liquid for the Z Nano 2

With the 0.2Ω coil, use a freebase e-liquid with a higher VG ratio (such as 70/30) at a low strength like 3mg. With the 0.6Ω coil you can use a 50/50 or slightly thicker freebase. Avoid strong nicotine salts with sub-ohm coils: more vapour means much more nicotine per puff, and it quickly becomes harsh.
