What is the XROS 5 NANO?

The XROS 5 NANO is a short, wide member of the XROS family with a smartphone-style touchscreen. It takes the same XROS pods as the stick-shaped XROS models, so pods are easy to find, but packs them into a palm-sized body at 80mm tall. It uses a button to fire and a touchscreen to change settings.

The Touchscreen

The 1.09-inch touchscreen has a sharp 311 PPI display and 29 dynamic themes you can switch between. It shows battery and settings, and you tap or swipe to adjust. Five clicks of the button turn the device on or off.

Battery and Charging

The 1600mAh battery charges over USB Type-C at 5V/2A, and Vaporesso says a full charge takes about 45 minutes. Battery life per charge depends on your pod and wattage: an 0.8Ω pod at lower power lasts noticeably longer than the 0.4Ω pod near 30W, and a bright screen also uses a little power. Keep the device out of hot cars and direct sun in summer to protect the battery.

XROS Pods: Which Resistance?

0.8Ω, 1.0Ω and 1.2Ω for MTL

Tighter, cigarette-like draws at lower power, ideal for nicotine salts. A 0.8Ω pod is in the box.

0.4Ω and 0.6Ω for more vapour
