What is the Uwell Caliburn GZ2?

The Caliburn GZ2 is one of Uwell’s compact Caliburn pod kits. At 72.5mm tall it is short and pocket-sized, and it fires on draw, so there are no settings to learn. The 17W ceiling suits mouth-to-lung vaping with nicotine salt e-liquid.

Unlike many small pod kits, the GZ2 uses a replaceable coil inside the pod. When the flavour fades you change the coil, not the whole pod, which keeps running costs down. The pod fills from the top, and the clear window lets you see the e-liquid level. The iAFC control lets you adjust the draw, and the RGB light adds a visual touch.

The kit is sold as empty hardware: no e-liquid or nicotine is included.

Which Coils Fit the Caliburn GZ2?

The GZ2 accepts two Uwell coil families:

Caliburn G coils in 0.8Ω and 1.0Ω. The 0.8Ω UN2 meshed coil comes fitted.
Caliburn G2 coils in 1.2Ω. A 1.2Ω UN2 meshed coil comes as a spare.

Battery and Charging

The 850mAh battery charges over USB Type-C. How long a charge lasts depends on the coil, how often you vape and how long each draw is. A higher-resistance coil such as 1.2Ω generally uses less power than 0.8Ω. Do not leave the kit charging in a hot car or in direct sun.

UAE Rules for Pod Kits and E-Liquid

The Caliburn GZ2 is sold empty, so it contains no nicotine. The rules apply to the e-liquid you fill it with. Electronic nicotine products in the UAE must meet UAE.S 5030:2018, which caps e-liquid nicotine at 20mg/mL (2%). How to Use the Caliburn GZ2

Charge the kit over USB Type-C before first use.
Remove the pod and open the top fill port. Fill with e-liquid, leaving a little space at the top.
Close the pod, refit it and wait about five minutes so the coil soaks.
Set the airflow with the iAFC control.
Draw gently to fire.
Change the coil when the flavour fades or turns burnt.

Caliburn GZ2 Troubleshooting

Burnt taste on a new coil: the coil was not fully soaked. Wait longer after filling next time.
No vapour: charge the battery and check the pod is seated and the coil is pushed in fully.
Leaking or gurgling: do not overfill, and keep the kit upright when stored.
Flavour fading: replace the coil. Sweet e-liquids wear coils faster.

Who the Caliburn GZ2 Suits

The GZ2 suits vapers who want a small, draw-activated MTL kit and like the lower running cost of replaceable coils. It is also a good match if you already have Caliburn G or G2 coils. If you vape heavily and want to charge less often, the Caliburn G5 Lite’s bigger battery is a better fit.
