SMOK Novo 6 — Specifications

Specifications as listed by SourceMore for the SMOK Novo 6 kit. E-liquid is not included.

What is the SMOK Novo 6?

The Novo 6 belongs to SMOK’s long-running Novo pod line and runs at up to 40W. It keeps the slim Novo shape but adds a larger 1700mAh battery, a colour screen and stepless airflow. You can vape it like a simple auto-draw pod or use the button, so it suits both beginners and vapers who want more control. It takes the widely available Novo 5 pods.

Novo 5 Pods: 0.6Ω or 0.7Ω

Meshed 0.6Ω (two included)

A warmer draw with fuller flavour and more vapour; good with salts at moderate strength or a lower-strength e-liquid.

Meshed 0.7Ω MTL

A tighter mouth-to-lung draw at lower power, closest to a cigarette and ideal for nicotine salts. Spares: SMOK Novo 5 Pods 0.7Ω MTL.

Note: other Novo pods (Novo 2, Novo 2X, Novo X) are not interchangeable; the Novo 6 uses Novo 5 pods.

Battery and Charging

The 1700mAh battery is large for a slim pod kit and charges over USB Type-C at 2A. Battery life per charge depends on your wattage and pod: the 0.7Ω MTL pod at low power uses much less energy than the 0.6Ω pod near 40W. The screen shows the battery level so you know when to top up. Keep the device out of hot cars and direct sun in summer to protect the battery.

Auto-Draw or Button

The Novo 6 fires automatically when you inhale, or you can use the fire button if you prefer to control when it fires. Combine that with the stepless airflow and adjustable power to fine-tune the draw.

Best E-Liquid for the Novo 6

With the 0.7Ω MTL pod, use a nicotine salt at or below the UAE’s 20mg/mL cap, such as VOZOL Salt Prime 20mg. With the 0.6Ω pod at higher wattage, a lower strength is smoother. Browse all e-liquids.

UAE Rules for Pod Kits and E-Liquid

The Novo 6 is sold without e-liquid, so it contains no nicotine itself; the rules apply to what you fill it with. Electronic nicotine products in the UAE must meet UAE.S 5030:2018, which caps e-liquid nicotine at 20mg/mL (2%). From 1 September 2026, a minimum excise price of AED 1 per mL also applies to e-liquid. Sale is restricted to adults 21 and over. See our guide to vaping laws in Dubai and the UAE.

Novo 6 vs Other SMOK Kits

How to Use the Novo 6

1. Charge the device over USB Type-C before first use.
2. Open the top-fill cap on the Novo 5 pod and fill.
3. Wait about five minutes for the mesh coil to soak.
4. Insert the pod, set a low wattage and adjust the airflow.
5. Draw or press the button; replace the pod when flavour fades.

Troubleshooting

• Burnt first puff: the pod was not primed.
• Harsh hit: lower the wattage or use the 0.7Ω pod.
• No vapour: charge the device and check the pod is seated.
• Spitting: do not overfill; close the airflow a little.

Who the Novo 6 Suits

The Novo 6 suits existing Novo users who want more battery and power, and new vapers who want a pod kit that can grow with them from auto-draw simplicity to adjustable wattage.
