WAKA Nova 12000 — Specifications

Retailers publish different battery and e-liquid figures for the Nova, and WAKA’s own sheet was not available to check, so we have left those out rather than guess. The puff count is a laboratory rating.

What is the WAKA Nova 12000?

The Nova is a mid-size disposable from WAKA, the brand behind the larger WAKA Blade and Blast. Its standout is the flavour list, which goes well beyond the usual iced fruits with coffee, citrus and a proper tobacco option. It is sealed and pre-filled, with a display that shows battery and e-liquid so you know when it is running low.

Why 18mg?

At 18mg, the Nova sits slightly below the UAE’s 20mg/mL maximum, giving a satisfying nicotine salt hit that is a touch softer than 20mg devices. It is a good middle ground for people who find 20mg a little harsh but want more than the 3–6mg of shisha-style vapes.

How Long Do 12,000 Puffs Last?

The 12,000 figure is a laboratory rating based on short, regular puffs. Real use is lower, because people take longer draws and vape in bursts. The display shows how much e-liquid remains. Our guide to how long disposable vape puffs really last explains what changes the number.

Is the WAKA Nova 12000 Within UAE Nicotine Rules?

Electronic nicotine products in the UAE must meet UAE.S 5030:2018, which caps e-liquid nicotine at 20mg/mL (2%). The Nova is 18mg (1.8%), which is within that limit. From 1 September 2026, a minimum excise price of AED 1 per mL of e-liquid also applies to vape products in the UAE. Sale is restricted to adults 21 and over. See our guide to vaping laws in Dubai and the UAE.

How to Use It

1. Remove all packaging and any seal on the mouthpiece.
2. Check the display for battery and e-liquid.
3. Inhale gently; it fires on draw.
4. Take short puffs and pause between them.
5. When the e-liquid shows empty, dispose of it responsibly as e-waste.

Troubleshooting

• Burnt taste: take shorter puffs and check the e-liquid level.
• No vapour: check the battery on the display and that the seals are removed.
• Gurgling: store it upright and avoid hard pulls.
• Stopped early: keep it out of heat and direct sun in UAE summers.
