VOOPOO PnP Coil Series — Specifications

Resistances and wattages are from the SourceMore distributor listing and international retailer listings that agree with each other. PnP-VM4 is sometimes shown as 0.3Ω, but these sources rate it at 0.6Ω; the 0.3Ω coil in this range is the PnP-VM1. The resistance is printed on every coil.

Which VOOPOO PnP Coil Should You Choose?

All six coils push into the same PnP pods. Pick by the draw you want and the power your device can deliver.

Mouth-to-lung: PnP-TR1 1.2Ω

The TR1 runs at 10–15W and gives a tight, cigarette-like draw. It is the coil for nicotine salt e-liquid and for PnP MTL pods.

Half direct-lung: PnP-VM4 0.6Ω and PnP-VM3 0.45Ω

These mesh coils sit in the middle. The VM4 (20–28W) gives a restricted, warmer draw; the VM3 (25–32W) is a little looser with more vapour. Both suit devices of around 30–40W.

Direct-lung: PnP-VM1 0.3Ω, VM5 0.2Ω and VM6 0.15Ω

These are for open, direct-lung vaping. The VM1 (32–40W) is the most common choice on 40W pod mods. The VM5 (40–60W) and VM6 (60–80W) need a higher-power device such as a Drag, and they use e-liquid quickly.

Which Devices Do PnP Coils Fit?

PnP coils fit VOOPOO devices that use PnP pods or the PnP Pod Tank. Always check your device’s power limit and minimum resistance: the Argus, for example, supports PnP coils of 0.3Ω and above, so it cannot use the VM5 or VM6. These PnP devices are in stock at Vapor AE:

“Suitable coils” is our guide based on each device’s maximum power. Spare Drag X/S PnP pods are also in stock. PnP X coils are a different fitting and do not replace these.

How Long Does a PnP Coil Last?

Coil life depends on how much you vape, the power you use and the e-liquid. Sweet e-liquids caramelise on the coil faster; tobacco and menthol flavours are usually gentler. Low-resistance coils at high power wear faster than MTL coils at low power.

Replace the coil when you notice any of these signs:

• The flavour turns muted or burnt even after a refill.
• The vapour becomes thinner at the same wattage.
• The pod starts to gurgle or spit.

How to Fit and Prime a PnP Coil

1. Remove the pod from the device and empty any old e-liquid.
2. Pull the old coil straight out of the pod.
3. Add a few drops of e-liquid to the cotton through the side holes of the new coil.
4. Push the new coil firmly into the pod until it seats.
5. Fill the pod and wait about five minutes so the cotton soaks fully.
6. Start at the low end of the coil’s rated range and raise the power slowly.

Never fire a dry coil. A dry coil burns almost instantly and cannot be recovered.

Best E-Liquid for PnP Coils

The TR1 1.2Ω suits nicotine salt e-liquid or a 50/50 freebase. The VM4 and VM3 work well with a lower-strength freebase. The VM1, VM5 and VM6 are direct-lung coils: use a low-strength, higher-VG freebase, because large puffs deliver much more nicotine. Browse our UAE e-liquids.

UAE Rules for E-Liquid and Coils

Replacement coils contain no nicotine themselves. The rules apply to the e-liquid you use with them. Electronic nicotine products in the UAE must meet UAE.S 5030:2018, which caps e-liquid nicotine at 20mg/mL (2%). From 1 September 2026, a minimum excise price of AED 1 per mL also applies to e-liquid. Sale is restricted to adults 21 and over. See our guide to vaping laws in Dubai and the UAE.
