0.8Ω or 0.9Ω: Which Novo 2X Pod?

Both are mesh mouth-to-lung (MTL) pods, and both suit nicotine salt e-liquid. The difference is small but noticeable.

0.8Ω mesh MTL

Slightly lower resistance, so it runs a little warmer with a touch more vapour and fuller flavour. Choose it if you like a looser MTL draw.

0.9Ω mesh MTL

Slightly cooler and tighter, closer to a cigarette. It is a good pick if the 0.8Ω feels too warm, or if you use higher-strength salts.

Which Devices Do Novo 2X Pods Fit?

The pods are made for the SMOK Novo 2X and are listed as compatible with the Novo 2C, Novo 2S, Novo 2 and original Novo. SMOK has used the same pod shape across several later Novo-family devices too; some retailers list the Novo Master, Novo Master Box, Propod, Propod GT and Novo Eco as compatible. In our range that includes the SMOK Novo Master Box, SMOK Propod GT and SMOK Novo Eco; check your device’s manual before ordering for those.

They do not fit the Novo X, Novo 4, Novo 5 or Novo 6, which use their own pods. For those, see SMOK Novo X pods or SMOK Novo 5 pods. Browse the full SMOK UAE range.

How Long Does a Novo 2X Pod Last?

A pod is finished when its coil wears out, not when the e-liquid runs out. Pod life depends on how much you vape and what you fill it with. Sweet dessert and candy e-liquids clog coils faster; tobacco and menthol flavours are gentler. Replace the pod when:

the flavour turns muted or burnt even after a refill;
the vapour becomes thin;
the pod starts to leak or gurgle.

How to Fill and Prime a Novo 2X Pod

Pull the pod out of the device.
Lift the mouthpiece cover to reveal the top fill port.
Fill slowly with e-liquid, stopping just below the top.
Close the cover firmly and wipe the pod dry.
Wait about five minutes so the cotton fully soaks.
Click the pod back in and take a few gentle puffs to start, at low wattage if your device is adjustable.

Never vape a pod dry. A dry coil burns almost instantly and cannot be recovered.

Best E-Liquid for Novo 2X Pods

At 0.8Ω to 0.9Ω and a mouth-to-lung draw, Novo 2X pods are built for nicotine salt e-liquid. A thin 50/50 freebase also works. Avoid thick, high-VG e-liquid, which can struggle to soak small MTL coils. Browse our UAE e-liquids.

Novo 2X Pod Troubleshooting

Burnt first puff: the pod was not primed. Wait longer after filling next time.
Leaking: do not overfill, close the cover firmly, and store the device upright.
Weak vapour: check the e-liquid level and charge the device.
Not firing: wipe the magnetic contacts dry and reseat the pod.

UAE Rules for E-Liquid and Pods

Novo 2X pods are sold empty, so the rules apply to what you fill them with. Electronic nicotine products in the UAE must meet UAE.S 5030:2018, which caps e-liquid nicotine at 20mg/mL (2%), and sale is restricted to adults 21 and over. See our guide to vaping laws in Dubai and the UAE.
