Which MS Coil Resistance Should You Choose?

0.15Ω and 0.25Ω for Maximum Vapour
These are high-power coils for the Marvos T 80W. They produce big, warm clouds and use a lot of e-liquid and battery. Pair them only with low-nicotine freebase e-liquid, around 3mg; salt nicotine at these wattages delivers far too much nicotine per puff.
0.35Ω for Balance, 0.5Ω for RDL
The 0.35Ω is a middle option with lower power and a slightly cooler draw, while still giving a full direct-lung hit — a good everyday coil if the 0.15Ω drains the battery too fast. The 0.5Ω is the lowest-power MS coil and the one that suits the Marvos 60W best: it gives a tighter, restricted direct-lung draw with strong flavour, and works with low-strength salts as well as freebase.
Which Devices Do FreeMax MS Coils Fit?
MS coils are made for FreeMax’s Marvos platform, specifically the Marvos T 80W and Marvos 60W pod mod kits. They do not fit other FreeMax families: the Maxus tanks use MX coils, the Onnix pods use OX coils, and the REXA devices use REXA pods. How Long Does an MS Coil Last, and How Do You Fit One?
Coil Lifespan
Coil life depends on how much you vape, the wattage and the e-liquid. High-power coils like the 0.15Ω run hot and usually wear out faster than the 0.5Ω. Sweet dessert and candy e-liquids clog mesh coils faster; tobacco and menthol are gentler. Replace the coil when the flavour turns muted or burnt even after a refill, vapour becomes thinner at the same wattage, or the pod starts to gurgle or leak.
How to Fit and Prime It
- Remove the pod and pull the old coil straight out.
- Drip a few drops of e-liquid onto the cotton through the coil’s side holes and into the top.
- Press the new coil in firmly until it seats.
- Fill the pod and wait about five minutes so the cotton fully soaks.
- Start at the low end of the coil’s wattage range and raise it slowly.
A burnt taste on the first puff usually means the cotton was not fully soaked, and it cannot be undone.
Best E-Liquid for MS Coils and UAE Rules
