VOOPOO PnP X Coils — Specifications

Source: VOOPOO’s official PnP X Coils page. VOOPOO also makes 0.45Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.0Ω PnP X coils, which we do not currently stock.

Which PnP X Coil Should You Choose?

0.15Ω and 0.2Ω: big clouds

These are high-wattage direct-lung coils. The 0.15Ω runs at 60–80W and the 0.2Ω at 40–60W. VOOPOO recommends 10mg nicotine or less; in practice most vapers use 3mg freebase at these power levels.

0.3Ω: the all-rounder

At 32–40W, the 0.3Ω sits between a full direct-lung and a restricted direct-lung draw. It is a good middle ground if you want decent vapour without the battery drain of 0.15Ω.

0.6Ω: restricted draw at low power

At 18–23W, the 0.6Ω gives a restricted direct-lung draw and uses the least battery and e-liquid of the four. VOOPOO’s guide allows higher nicotine with this coil, but in the UAE any e-liquid you use must stay within the 20mg/mL cap.

Which Devices Do PnP X Coils Fit?

VOOPOO lists PnP X coils for, among others, the Drag S2 and X2, Drag S3 and X3, Argus Pro 2, Argus E40 (with its PnP X cartridge), Argus MT, Doric 60 Pro, UFORCE-X Tank II, PnP X DTL and MTL pod tanks and Vinci Spark 100/220. VOOPOO also says they are not compatible with older tanks or devices on the original PnP coil platform.

Kits we stock that take PnP X coils include the Drag S2, Drag X2, Drag S3, Drag X3 and Argus Pro 2. For the matching cartridge, see our PnP X pod cartridges (5ml).

How to Fit and Prime a PnP X Coil

1. Remove the cartridge and pull out the old coil.
2. Drip a few drops of e-liquid onto the exposed cotton of the new coil.
3. Push the coil firmly into the cartridge until it seats.
4. Fill the cartridge and wait about five minutes so the cotton fully soaks.
5. Start at the bottom of the coil’s wattage range and raise it slowly.

Never fire a dry coil. A burnt coil cannot be recovered.

How Long Does a PnP X Coil Last?

Coil life depends on wattage, how much you vape and the e-liquid. Sweet e-liquids caramelise on the coil faster, and running near the top of the wattage range shortens life too. Replace the coil when the flavour turns muted or burnt, or when you see dark gunk on the coil.

UAE Rules for E-Liquid and Coils

Coils contain no nicotine; the rules apply to the e-liquid you use. Electronic nicotine products in the UAE must meet UAE.S 5030:2018, which caps e-liquid nicotine at 20mg/mL (2%). From 1 September 2026, a minimum excise price of AED 1 per mL of e-liquid also applies. Sale is restricted to adults 21 and over. See our guide to vaping laws in Dubai and the UAE.

Troubleshooting

• Burnt first puff: the coil was not primed, or the wattage was too high. Prime longer and start lower.
• Device reads no coil: push the coil in fully and reseat the cartridge.
• Leaking: check the coil is seated and the cartridge is not overfilled.
• Coil will not fit: your device may use original PnP coils, which are a different platform.
