Pava Horiz Pod Cartridge — Specifications

0.6Ω vs 0.8Ω: Which Horiz Pod to Choose

Both pods hold 2ml and fit the same devices; the difference is the coil resistance, which changes how the draw feels.

0.8Ω pod

The higher resistance runs cooler and at lower power, giving a tighter mouth-to-lung (MTL) draw. It is the better match for nicotine salt e-liquid and for smokers who want a cigarette-like pull. It also tends to use less e-liquid per puff.

0.6Ω pod

The lower resistance runs warmer and produces more vapour and a fuller flavour, with a slightly looser draw. It is the pod the Horiz AI ships with. Use it with salts at a moderate strength, or with a lower-strength freebase if you want bigger clouds.

Which Devices Does the Pava Horiz Pod Fit?

The Horiz cartridge is made for Pava’s Horiz-series pod kits. We stock two of them:

• Pava Horiz Ultra
• Pava Horiz AI, which comes with a 2ml 0.6Ω Horiz pod pre-installed

The Horiz Pro also uses Horiz pods. If you are not sure which device you have, check the model name on the device body before ordering. Browse our full Pava UAE range.

How Long Does a Horiz Pod Last?

Because the pod is refillable, it is finished when the built-in coil wears out, not when the e-liquid runs out. Coil life depends on how much you vape, your power setting and your e-liquid. Sweet dessert and candy flavours build up on the coil faster; tobacco and mint are gentler. Replace the pod when:

• The flavour turns muted or burnt even after refilling.
• The vapour gets thinner.
• The pod starts to leak or gurgle.

How to Fill and Prime a Horiz Pod

1. Remove the pod from the device and hold it upright.
2. Open the top-fill port.
3. Fill slowly, stopping just below the top so there is room for air.
4. Close the port firmly and wipe off any e-liquid on the outside.
5. Wait about five minutes so the wick fully soaks. This prevents a burnt first puff.
6. Insert the pod and take a few gentle puffs to start.

Refill before the e-liquid gets too low and never vape the pod dry; a dry coil burns instantly and cannot be recovered.

Best E-Liquid for Pava Horiz Pods

At 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω, Horiz pods suit nicotine salt e-liquid and thinner 50/50 freebase. Avoid very thick, high-VG e-liquid made for sub-ohm tanks, which can struggle to soak a small pod coil and cause dry hits. For a salt at the UAE’s 20mg/mL limit, see VOZOL Salt Prime, or browse all e-liquids.

UAE Rules for E-Liquid and Pods

Horiz pods are sold empty, so they contain no nicotine themselves; the rules apply to the e-liquid you put in them. Electronic nicotine products in the UAE must meet UAE.S 5030:2018, which caps e-liquid nicotine at 20mg/mL (2%), and sale is restricted to adults 21 and over. See our guide to vaping laws in Dubai and the UAE.
