How long does it last?

It depends on how much you vape, the power you use and your e-liquid. Sweet dessert and candy e-liquids clog coils faster than tobacco or menthol flavours. Replace a coil when the flavour turns flat or burnt, or the vapour thins; replace a pod when it cracks, leaks or no longer seats firmly.

Priming

Before first use, drip a few drops of e-liquid onto any exposed cotton, fit it, fill and wait about five minutes. A dry first puff burns the cotton and cannot be undone.

How to Use the GeekVape Q Pods

Take the pod out and open the fill port.
Fill slowly, leaving a little space at the top.
Close the port and wipe the pod dry.
Wait about five minutes for the coil to soak.
Start at the low end of the pod’s wattage range.

Troubleshooting

Burnt taste: the cartridge was not soaked long enough, or it ran dry. A burnt coil cannot be recovered, so fit a new cartridge and wait about five minutes after filling.
No vapour when drawing: check the battery, make sure the cartridge is seated firmly, and wipe the contacts dry.
Gurgling or e-liquid in the mouthpiece: the cartridge may be overfilled or the device was left in the heat. Remove the cartridge, blow gently through the mouthpiece, and store the device upright.
Leaking: check the fill port is closed firmly and that the cartridge has no cracks.

Buying Tips

Check your device model before ordering; cartridges and coils are made for specific devices, and similar names are not always interchangeable.
Order spares before you run out. A cracked cartridge or burnt coil with no spare leaves you unable to vape.
Buy e-liquid at the same time to use one delivery and reach the free-delivery threshold of AED 350 sooner.
Store spares cool and dry, away from direct sun.

Storing Spares in the UAE Heat

Keep unopened coils and pods in their packaging, somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sun. Heat can dry the cotton in coils and thin e-liquid in filled pods, which leads to leaks. Never leave filled pods in a parked car; if a pod has been in the heat, let it cool to room temperature before you vape. Check the resistance printed on each coil before fitting it, as similar coils can look alike.

Running Costs

Replacement coils and pods, plus a bottle of e-liquid, usually cost far less per week than buying disposables, and you keep your favourite device. Order spares before you run out, so a burnt coil never leaves you without a replacement.

UAE Rules for the GeekVape Q Pods

The GeekVape Q Pods is sold empty, with no e-liquid or nicotine included, so the rules apply to what you fill it with. Electronic nicotine products in the UAE must meet UAE.S 5030:2018, which caps e-liquid nicotine at 20mg/mL (2%).
