Is It Legal and Compliant in the UAE?

Vaping has been legal in the UAE since April 2019. Since July 2020, certification has been handled by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) via ECAS (Emirates Conformity Assessment Scheme), and electronic nicotine products must meet UAE.S 5030:2018. The standard nicotine cap under this framework is 20 mg/mL (2%). This device is sold empty — no e-liquid or nicotine is included — so compliance depends on the e-liquid you choose to fill it with; keep any bottle you buy at or under the 20mg/mL cap. Check the physical packaging/mark on any e-liquid you buy separately to confirm it’s UAE-compliant.

From 1 September 2026, the UAE Ministry of Finance has also introduced a minimum excise price of AED 1 per mL on e-liquid used in electronic smoking devices, on top of the existing 100% excise rate (this applies to the e-liquid you buy separately, not to the device itself). Sale of vaping devices is restricted to adults 21+ under UAE regulations. See our full guide to vaping legality in Dubai & the UAE for the complete rules. Registration and conformity requirements are set by the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT).

How to Use the Geekvape Max100 Kit 100W (Aegis Max 2) with Z Subohm 2021Tank Atomizer 5ml

1. Insert a charged 21700 or 18650 battery before first use (sold separately), then charge further via Type-C USB as needed.
2. Fill the pod/tank through its top or side fill port with your chosen e-liquid, avoiding the center airflow tube.
3. Let a freshly-filled coil sit for 3-5 minutes before vaping, to avoid a dry hit.
4. Adjust wattage/airflow to taste, and recharge via Type-C USB or swap in a freshly charged battery once the TFT screen signals low power.

Pros & Cons

Where to Recycle or Dispose of It

This is a rechargeable device, not a single-use disposable — keep using it and just replace pods/coils as needed rather than throwing the whole unit away. When a coil or pod does reach end of life, dispose of the exhausted coil separately from general waste where e-waste recycling is available locally, and never puncture or incinerate a lithium battery.
