Aspire Pixo Review: The Touchscreen Pod Kit Tested on Paper
Overview
This Aspire Pixo review looks at the original touchscreen kit in Aspire’s Pixo family: a 5-30W pod device with a built-in 1100mAh battery, a 1.47-inch colour touchscreen and three firing modes. It costs AED 120 at Vapor AE and comes in five colours.
It suits an adult who wants to change settings by touch and likes having both draw and button firing. It does not suit anyone who wants the biggest battery in the range, because the newer Pixo Neo and Pixo Aura both carry 1300mAh. The kit is sold empty, so e-liquid is bought separately. Our assessment relies on listing data and retailer specifications, not hands-on testing, and Vapor AE sells this product. Last updated: 26 September 2026.

What Is the Aspire Pixo Pod Kit?
The Aspire Pixo is the model that gave Aspire’s Pixo pod family its name. It is a pod kit with a built-in 1100mAh battery, a 3ml side-fill pod and adjustable output from 5W to 30W. Its distinguishing feature is a 1.47-inch colour touchscreen, which lets you change settings by touch rather than by pressing buttons through menus.
The listed size is 111.4 x 30.4 x 16.6mm. Vapor AE stocks five colours: Beige, Frost Blue, Gunmetal, Ice Silver and Sage Green.
A note on sources: Aspire’s own Pixo page could not be read when we wrote this, so the specifications come from international retailer listings that agree with each other, and from our live listing. Where that matters, we say so. The newer Pixo Neo and Pixo Aura figures we quote for comparison do come from Aspire’s official pages, for example the Aspire Pixo Neo page.
The kit contains no e-liquid and no nicotine, and it is for adults aged 21 and over. We would rather admit a gap in the sourcing than present a retailer figure as if it were an Aspire figure.
Fact: no other Pixo kit at Vapor AE has a touchscreen. Opinion: that single feature is what you are paying for at AED 120, since the newer kits cost less and carry bigger batteries.
Touchscreen, SMART and WATT Modes, and Firing
The touchscreen shows battery level, power and puff information, according to our listing, and you use it to pick between SMART and WATT modes. SMART reads the pod and sets a suitable power. WATT lets you set the power yourself between 5W and 30W.
Firing has three options: A fires when you inhale, B fires with the button, and AB allows either. Mechanism: draw firing has no button to press, so it suits a first-time user, while button firing needs a deliberate press and avoids accidental puffs in a pocket. AB keeps both choices open.
SMART mode is the low-effort choice: fit a pod and let the device pick the power. WATT mode is for people who want to nudge power up or down in small steps to change warmth and vapour. Whichever you use, stay inside the wattage band rated for your pod.
The screen-size conflict
Retailer listings disagree on the screen. Two quote 1.47 inches and one quotes 1.41 inches. We use 1.47 because two sources agree and because it matches our listing, but without Aspire’s own page we cannot call it certain. The Pixo Neo, by contrast, is listed by Aspire at 0.85 inches, so whichever figure is right, the Pixo has by far the larger display of the family.
In the Box and Which Pod to Start With
According to the retailer listings our page follows, the box holds the Pixo device, a 0.4Ω 3ml pod pre-installed, a 1.0Ω 3ml pod, a USB Type-C cable and a manual. Aspire does not confirm this on a page we could read, so check the box on delivery.
That pairing gives you the two ends of the range. The 1.0Ω pod, rated 10-15W, gives a tight mouth-to-lung draw. The 0.4Ω pod, rated 23-30W, gives a looser draw with more vapour per puff.
Our listing names three pod resistances for the Pixo: 0.4, 0.6 and 1.0Ω. Aspire lists a 1.2Ω pod for the newer Pixo Neo and Pixo Aura, so ask before assuming it fits the original Pixo. Replacement pods are a two-pack of Aspire Pixo replacement pods at AED 25, or AED 12.50 each by our division.
Two pods in the box also means you can test both ends of the range before buying spares. That is useful, because the right resistance depends on the e-liquid you choose.
Which pod to fit first
Opinion: start with the 1.0Ω pod and a low WATT setting if you use nicotine salts, because it is the tighter draw. Move to the 0.4Ω pod once you want more vapour, and use a lower nicotine strength with it. UAE.S 5030:2018 caps e-liquid nicotine at 20mg/mL (2%).
1100mAh Battery, 2A Charging and Heat
The Pixo has a built-in 1100mAh battery that charges over USB Type-C at up to 2A, according to retailer listings. Simple division of 1100mAh by 2A gives about 33 minutes in theory, and a real charge takes longer near full. No source gives a puff count, so we do not estimate one.
Why it matters: this is the smallest battery in the Pixo family, 200mAh below the Neo and Aura, and it has a touchscreen to power on top. Our own listing notes that a touchscreen uses more battery than a simple indicator light. That is a reasonable inference from the design, not a measured figure. Higher wattage also drains any battery faster.
Practical care matters in the UAE. Charge the kit indoors and do not leave it in a hot car. Our listing advises that heat can thin e-liquid and cause leaks, and heat is also hard on any lithium cell.
If battery life is your priority, this is the family member to skip. If you accept a smaller battery in exchange for the touchscreen, the trade is clear.
We have no measured runtime to quote, so plan around your own use: a heavier user will want to charge more often than a light one.
Aspire Pixo vs Pixo Neo and Pixo Aura
The Pixo, Pixo Neo and Pixo Aura all use the same Pixo pods, so the comparison is about the device, not the pod. The table sets them side by side.
| Kit | Battery | Output | Display | Firing | Price (AED) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pixo | 1100mAh, 2A charge | 5-30W, SMART and WATT | 1.47-inch touchscreen | A, B or AB | 120 |
| Pixo Neo | 1300mAh, 2A charge | 5-30W, Smart and Watt | 0.85-inch TFT | A, B or AB | 110 |
| Pixo Aura | 1300mAh, 1A charge | Set by pod, 12-25W | None | Auto-draw only | 75 |
All three use Pixo pods, so spares are interchangeable and switching kits later costs you nothing in pods. The differences are the interface, the battery and the price. The Pixo has the large touchscreen, the Neo and Aura have 200mAh more battery, and the Aura is the only one where the pod alone fixes the power. In this Aspire Pixo review, the interface is the deciding difference, because the pod range and the firing choice are shared with the Neo.
Is the touchscreen worth AED 10 more than the Neo?
The Pixo costs AED 10 more than the Neo and AED 45 more than the Aura, and gives up 200mAh to both. By our division, that is about AED 10.9 per 100mAh for the Pixo, AED 8.5 for the Neo and AED 5.8 for the Aura. The Pixo's extra is the large touchscreen. Read our Aspire Pixo Neo review and Aspire Pixo Aura review for the other two.
UAE Rules, Delivery and Where to Buy
The Aspire Pixo Pod Vape Kit 1100mAh costs AED 120 at Vapor AE. Buyers must be 21 or over; age is confirmed at the website age gate. The kit is empty hardware, so the UAE rules apply to the e-liquid. UAE.S 5030:2018 caps nicotine at 20mg/mL (2%), anything above that is above the UAE cap, and from 1 September 2026 a minimum excise price of AED 1 per mL of e-liquid applies. Our guide covers vaping laws in Dubai and the UAE.
Fill the pod through the side port, leave a little space, and wait about five minutes so the coil soaks. Browse all Aspire products or the pod system category, and read the Responsible Vaping Health Disclaimer and Authenticity Guarantee. A burnt taste on a new pod usually means it was not given time to soak.
Delivery and payment options
Standard delivery takes up to 24 hours to all seven emirates and is free over AED 350. Express delivery takes about 2 hours in Dubai (AED 10 extra). Cash on delivery works across the UAE, or you can pay by bank transfer through a payment link sent when the delivery person arrives. The minimum order is AED 100 on all payment methods. See our delivery terms page.
Do not overfill the pod, and close the fill port firmly. Store the kit upright.
Aspire Pixo Review Verdict: Pros, Cons and Who It Fits
This Aspire Pixo review comes down to one question: do you want the touchscreen enough to accept the smallest battery in the family?
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| 1.47-inch colour touchscreen | 1100mAh is smaller than the Pixo Neo and Pixo Aura |
| Three firing modes: draw, button or both | A touchscreen adds to battery use |
| Three listed pod resistances cover MTL to light direct-lung | Coil is built into the pod, so whole pods are replaced |
| Two pods in the box, per retailer listings | Costs more than the Neo and Aura, and Aspire's own page could not be read |
Fact: the kit is sold empty and contains no nicotine, so running cost is pods and e-liquid. Opinion: it fits an adult who likes changing settings by touch and wants both draw and button firing, and it fits less well if battery capacity or price is the deciding factor.
If you want the same power range with a bigger battery, the Neo is the closer match. For puff-life context, see how long vape puffs last in the UAE.
Who should look elsewhere: buyers who want a case-charged, button-free pocket kit should read our Aspire Nexi Pro Combo review, and buyers who want the lowest price should read our Aspire Pixo Aura review.
Overall, this Aspire Pixo review treats the touchscreen as a real feature and the 1100mAh battery as a real limit. Neither cancels the other, so the right answer depends on which one you would notice more day to day. If you would rather see a screen than think about battery, this is the kit. If you already charge often, the trade is easy.
Frequently asked questions
What battery does the Aspire Pixo have?
It has a built-in 1100mAh battery, charged over USB Type-C at up to 2A according to retailer listings. That is 200mAh less than the Pixo Neo and Pixo Aura. No source gives a puff count, so we do not estimate one, and higher wattage drains the battery faster.
How much e-liquid does the Pixo pod hold?
The pod holds 3ml, or 2ml in the TPD version, and it fills from the side, according to retailer listings and our page. The coil is built into the pod, so you replace the whole pod when the flavour fades. Leave a little space at the top when filling, to reduce leaks.
Which pods fit the Aspire Pixo?
Aspire Pixo pods fit. Our listing names 0.4, 0.6 and 1.0 ohm versions with mesh coils. Aspire lists a 1.2 ohm Pixo pod for the newer Neo and Aura, so confirm availability before assuming it fits the original Pixo. Vapor AE sells Pixo pods in two-packs.
Can I fire the Pixo by inhaling?
Yes. Mode A fires when you inhale, mode B uses the button, and mode AB allows either. You choose the mode on the touchscreen. Draw firing is the simplest, and button firing avoids accidental puffs if the kit is in a pocket or bag.
Is the Aspire Pixo good for nicotine salts?
Yes, with the 1.0 ohm pod and tight airflow, which gives the mouth-to-lung draw that salts suit. Keep the strength at or below the UAE cap of 20mg/mL (2%). Any strength above that is above the UAE cap. This is an opinion on suitability, not a health claim.
