Aspire Nexi Pro Combo Review: Pocket Pod Kit With a Charging Case
Overview
This Aspire Nexi Pro Combo review looks at a refillable pod kit built around one idea: a tiny 350mAh pod device that lives inside a 1650mAh charging case. It is draw-activated, has no buttons or settings, uses a 2ml pod, and costs AED 120 at Vapor AE.
The kit suits an adult who wants the simplest possible refillable device, or who is happy to carry a charging case. It does not suit anyone who wants adjustable power or airflow. It is sold empty, so e-liquid is bought separately. Our assessment uses Aspire’s official specifications and the live listing rather than hands-on testing, and Vapor AE sells this product. What Is the Aspire Nexi Pro Combo Kit?
The Aspire Nexi Pro Combo Kit is a refillable pod system made of two parts: a slim aluminium-alloy pod device and a pocket charging case that doubles as a power bank. Aspire lists the device at 76.5 x 16.9 x 13.4mm, about the footprint of a lighter, and the case at 103.8 x 35.5 x 22.5mm.
It has no buttons, no screen and no menu. You fit a filled pod, draw on the mouthpiece and the device fires. That is a fact about the design. Whether it is a good design depends on the person: it removes every decision for someone who dislikes settings, and removes every option for someone who likes to tune power or airflow.
The Nexi Pro sits in Aspire’s Nexi line and has its own 2ml pods. Our listing states that Pixo pods do not fit it, so this is a closed system rather than part of the Pixo family.
Vapor AE lists eight colours: Black, Blue Grey, Champagne, Dark Blue, Grey, Metallic Jade, Purple Red and Silver. Aspire’s own page names the same eight but calls the grey one Dark Grey, so the difference is naming, not stock.
The kit contains no e-liquid and no nicotine, and it is for adults aged 21 and over. You can read the maker’s figures on Aspire’s official Nexi Pro page.
How the 1650mAh Power-Bank Case Works
The device has a 350mAh battery and the case holds 1650mAh. The device charges inside the case through magnetic contact pins, and the case itself charges over USB Type-C. Aspire lists a 0.5A charge current for the device on both routes and a 2A maximum for the case.
Why it matters: battery capacity decides how long a device runs between charges, and a case that recharges it means you visit a wall socket less often. On its own a 350mAh cell is small, so in this Aspire Nexi Pro Combo review the case is what turns this kit from a curiosity into a practical daily device. It also gives the device a hard shell in a pocket or bag.
Does the six-recharge claim add up?
Aspire says the case can recharge the device up to six times, which our listing describes as about a week of vaping. Dividing the two listed capacities (1650 by 350) gives about 4.7 full charges, so the six-recharge figure is Aspire’s own claim and we could not reproduce it from the published numbers. Charging also loses some energy as heat, so read ‘up to six’ as a ceiling. Neither Aspire nor the listing states a puff count per charge, and we do not invent one.
Pod, Coil and Fixed 3.5V Output
The pod holds 2ml and has a 1.2Ω mesh coil built in. Aspire lists the coil as non-replaceable, so when the flavour fades you replace the whole pod. Output is a constant 3.5V and the airflow is fixed to a mouth-to-lung draw.
The mechanism is simple. A coil’s power equals voltage squared divided by resistance, so 3.5V across 1.2Ω works out to roughly 10W by our arithmetic. Aspire does not publish a wattage for this kit, so treat that as an estimate. A resistance this high at modest power gives a tight draw with less vapour per puff, which is the mouth-to-lung style: draw into the mouth first, then inhale.
Because nothing is adjustable, the vape feels the same on day one and day thirty. There is also no way to raise the power when a pod tastes flat, and no way to open the airflow.
Choosing e-liquid for a 1.2 ohm pod
Our listing advises nicotine salt or a thin 50/50 e-liquid, because thick high-VG liquid can struggle to soak a small mesh coil. UAE.S 5030:2018 caps e-liquid nicotine at 20mg/mL (2%), so check the strength printed on any bottle before you buy.
Using the Nexi Pro Combo Day to Day
Start by charging the case fully over USB Type-C, then rest the device in it. Remove the pod, fill it through the fill port and leave a little space at the top. Wait about five minutes so the mesh coil’s cotton soaks through, click the pod back in and inhale gently. Return the device to the case between sessions.
There is no wattage to set, no mode to pick and no button to hold, so a first-time refillable user has very little to get wrong.
Two habits matter more than anything else. First, never vape a dry pod: a burnt taste usually means the coil was not soaked or the pod ran empty. Second, mind the heat. UAE summers can turn a parked car into an oven, and our listing warns that heat can thin e-liquid and cause leaks, so keep the kit and its case out of hot cars and direct sun.
Because the coil is built into the pod, running costs come from pods rather than coils. Spare Nexi Pro pods are a separate listing on our site, so check its stock before you plan around them.
Opinion: the routine rewards dropping the device back in its case after each session, and it is less forgiving if you leave the case at home with only a 350mAh cell in your pocket.
Aspire Nexi Pro Combo vs Riil X and Pixo Neo
Against two other Aspire kits at Vapor AE, the Nexi Pro Combo trades control for size. All figures below come from Aspire’s specifications and our listings.
| Kit | Battery | Output | Coil | Pod | Price (AED) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nexi Pro Combo | 350mAh device plus 1650mAh case | 3.5V constant | 1.2Ω mesh, built into pod | 2ml | 120 |
| Aspire Riil X | 700mAh | Smart constant wattage | AF mesh 0.6Ω or 1.0Ω, replaceable | 2ml | 190 |
| Aspire Pixo Neo | 1300mAh | 5-30W, Smart and Watt modes | Pixo pods 0.4-1.2Ω, built into pod | 3ml (2ml TPD) | 110 |
Price and battery show the split clearly. The Nexi Pro Combo costs AED 120 for a 350mAh device plus a 1650mAh case, the Riil X costs AED 190 for 700mAh, and the Pixo Neo costs AED 110 for 1300mAh. Counted by device battery alone, the Pixo Neo is the cheapest per mAh. Counted by portable power away from a socket, only the Nexi Pro carries a second battery.
Coil systems differ too. The Nexi Pro and Pixo Neo use pods with the coil built in, so you buy pods. The Riil X takes replaceable AF mesh coils, so you change the coil and keep the pod.
The practical split in this Aspire Nexi Pro Combo review is simple: the case is the Nexi Pro's edge, and control is the edge of the other two.
Which kit fits which habit
Choose the Nexi Pro Combo if pocket size and a charging case matter most. Read our Aspire Riil X review if replaceable coils and a premium finish appeal, or our Aspire Pixo Neo review if you want adjustable wattage and a bigger battery. Only the Nexi Pro comes with its own charging case.
UAE Rules, Delivery and Where to Buy
The Aspire Nexi Pro Combo Kit costs AED 120 at Vapor AE, and you choose the colour on the product page. Buyers must be 21 or over; age is confirmed at the website age gate.
The kit is empty hardware, so the UAE rules apply to the e-liquid you put in it. UAE.S 5030:2018 caps nicotine at 20mg/mL (2%). Any e-liquid stronger than that is above the UAE cap and should not be described as compliant. From 1 September 2026 a minimum excise price of AED 1 per mL of e-liquid also applies. For the wider picture, read our guide on whether vaping is legal in Dubai and the UAE, then browse all Aspire products or the pod system category.

Delivery and payment options
Standard delivery takes up to 24 hours to all seven emirates and is free over AED 350. Express delivery, which is paid, takes about 2 hours in Dubai (AED 10 extra). Cash on delivery works across the UAE, or you can pay by bank transfer through a payment link sent when the delivery person arrives. The minimum order is AED 100 on all payment methods. Full details are on our delivery terms page.
Aspire Nexi Pro Combo Review Verdict: Pros, Cons and Who It Fits
The case is the reason to consider this kit, and the fixed settings are the reason to skip it. The table sets out the trade-offs one for one.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Case recharges the device, up to six times by Aspire’s claim | Only 350mAh in the device itself |
| Button-free and draw-activated, with nothing to configure | Fixed 3.5V output and fixed airflow, so no tuning |
| 1.2Ω mesh coil suits nicotine salt and thin e-liquid | Coil is built into the pod, so the whole pod is replaced |
| Eight colours in a lighter-sized body | No puff count per charge is published, and six recharges cannot be reproduced from the listed capacities |
Opinion: the Nexi Pro Combo fits an adult who wants a cigarette-sized routine without a wall charger, or who is moving from a disposable and wants a refillable device with no learning curve. It fits less well if you want more vapour, adjustable power or replaceable coils, because none of those exist here.
Our overall view is that this kit does one thing clearly: it removes the two most common annoyances of a small pod device, a flat battery and a complicated menu. If you value those, it is a focused choice. If you want to grow into a device, look at a Pixo kit instead. For a sense of how long real puffs last, see our guide on how long vape puffs last in the UAE.
Fact: the kit is sold empty and contains no nicotine, so ongoing cost is the pods and e-liquid you add. Opinion: at AED 120, the case is the part you are paying for, so this Aspire Nexi Pro Combo review ends with a conditional recommendation rather than a blanket one.
Frequently asked questions
What is included in the Aspire Nexi Pro Combo?
The combo pairs the Nexi Pro pod device with its 1650mAh power-bank charging case and a 2ml pod, according to our listing. It contains no e-liquid or nicotine, so you need to buy e-liquid separately. Check the product page for the current colour options before ordering.
How long does the Nexi Pro battery last?
The device has a 350mAh battery and the case holds 1650mAh. Aspire says the case can recharge the device up to six times, roughly a week of vaping. No puff count per charge is published, and simple division of the two capacities gives about 4.7 charges, so treat six as a maximum.
Can I change the wattage or airflow on the Nexi Pro?
No. The Nexi Pro runs at a constant 3.5V with a fixed mouth-to-lung airflow and has no buttons or screen. If you want adjustable power or airflow, an Aspire Pixo kit such as the Pixo Neo offers 5-30W and an airflow slider, but it does not come with a charging case.
Can I replace the coil in a Nexi Pro pod?
No. Aspire lists the 1.2 ohm mesh coil as built into the pod and non-replaceable, so you replace the whole pod when the flavour fades. Pixo pods and Riil X coils do not fit this device, so buy pods made for the Nexi Pro.
Is the Aspire Nexi Pro Combo good for beginners?
It can be, because there is nothing to set: you fill the pod, click it in and draw. The tight mouth-to-lung draw is also close to how many people drew on cigarettes. This is an opinion, not a health claim, and buyers must be 21 or over.
