What is the Relx Optimus?

The Optimus is sold under the RELX name and is one of the highest puff ratings in our range, aimed at vapers who want one device to last as long as possible. Flavours include Double Apple, Miami Mint and Passion Fruit Guava.

How Long Do 60,000 Puffs Last?

The 60,000 figure is a manufacturer rating from machine testing with short, regular puffs. Real use is almost always lower, because people take longer draws and vape in bursts. Treat it as a ceiling rather than a promise. Our guide to how long disposable vape puffs really last explains what changes the number.

Is the Relx Optimus Within UAE Nicotine Rules?

Electronic nicotine products in the UAE must meet UAE.S 5030:2018, which caps e-liquid nicotine at 20mg/mL (2%). The Relx Optimus is filled at 50mg (5%), which is above that cap, so it is not within the UAE limit at its stated strength. Check the strength printed on the box when your order arrives. From 1 September 2026, a minimum excise price of AED 1 per mL of e-liquid also applies to vape products in the UAE. Sale is restricted to adults 21 and over. See our guide to vaping laws in Dubai and the UAE.

How to Use the Relx Optimus

1. Remove all packaging and any seal or silicone cap on the mouthpiece.
2. Inhale gently through the mouthpiece.
3. Take short puffs of two to three seconds and pause between them.
4. When the flavour fades or turns burnt, the e-liquid is used up. Stop and dispose of it responsibly.

Relx Optimus Troubleshooting

• Burnt taste: long, hard draws can pull e-liquid through the coil faster than the wick can refill. Take shorter puffs. A burnt taste that stays usually means the device is empty.
• No vapour: check that every seal is removed and draw a little more firmly; a very light inhale may not trigger the sensor.
• Gurgling or e-liquid in the mouthpiece: store the device upright and out of direct sun, and avoid sucking hard after it has been in a hot car.
• Stopped early: heat is hard on the battery and e-liquid. In UAE summers, keep it in a cool place.
